What is OZOFire™?

OZOFire™ was created especially for Indoor Ventless Fireplaces and is totally safe for you and the planet. It is the safest fuel on the market. It is a clean, sustainable Bio-Ethanol fuel specially formulated to provide the cleanest fire possible while complying with all regulations required by U.S. Government Agencies. The only byproducts created when burning OZOFire™ fuel are water vapor and very small amounts of carbon dioxide; no toxins or offensive fumes are emitted. The flame is clean and odorless. OZOFire™ burns efficiently and there is no oily residue left in the tank as with other Bio-Ethanol fuels which contain petroleum distillates.

What is Denaturing?

Bio-Ethanol is a pure form of alcohol made from plants. In order to meet the regulations of the US TTB – all alcohols not-for-consumption must be denatured to render them un-drinkable. In the denaturing process small amounts of human aversive substances are added to the ethanol, and in most cases, are toxic if burned. With OZOfire™ we add only safe, non-toxic substances which do not affect the integrity of the burn and do not emit harmful fumes. Common Denatured alcohol available in Hardware Stores and Paint Stores are NOT SUITABLE for use as a fuel in ventless fireplaces. They are typically denatured with powerful solvents which emit harmful toxic vapors. USE ONLY OZOFire™ FUEL IN YOUR VENTLESS FIREPLACE TO ASSURE A SAFE, AND LEGAL BURN.

How do I safely store my OZOFire™ fuel?

OZOFire™ should always be stored in its original container. Cap should be tightly sealed and container should be stored away from any heat or flame in a secure space that cannot be accessed by children or pets.

How do I add fuel to a Bio-Ethanol Fireplace?

• Always follow the fueling instructions provided by the manufacturer of the fireplace you have purchased
• DO NOT add fuel to a fireplace that is already burning or Hot. Extinguish Flame and let unit cool to a point where it is only warm to the touch before adding more fuel
• DO NOT allow children to refuel the Fireplace
• If fuel spills clean up immediately and thoroughly
• Add fuel via the fill hole provided. For trough fireplaces that do not have a separate fill hole, pour fuel directly into the trough. DO NOT OVERFILL

How do I light OZOFire™ fuel in my fireplace?

• Always follow the instructions provided by the fireplace manufacturer.
• Unlit fuel can give off some fumes which are combustible, so it is best to light fire immediately after filling the fireplace fuel tank.
• Because a “Flash” is possible when lighting a fire, keep your face away from burner.

How do I extinguish OZOFire™ fuel in my fireplace?

All fireplaces are either equipped with a shut off mechanism or a tool to “snuff” the fire. By closing the fireplace or covering the burn hole with a non-flammable object, you eliminate the supply of oxygen which extinguishes the flame.

Will fires using OZOFire™ give off heat?

• While the flame provided by burning OZOFire™ is decorative and beautiful, it also is efficient in providing heat.
• Due to the ventless nature of the fireplaces themselves; no heat is lost up the flu or vent.
• Depending upon the size of the fireplace, OZOFire™ can provide up to 13,000 BTU or 3.5Kw/H of heating energy. This is enough energy to heat approximately 375 sq ft of living space.

How do I control the heat and/or flame?

Most fireplaces provide a damping mechanism that allows you to adjust the size of the flame. Adjust the opening of the lid to adjust the flame height

How Long will my OZOFire™ flame burn?

One pint of OZOFire™ fuel will burn 2-5 hours dependent upon the fireplace size and adjustment of the flame. One Gallon of fuel can provide up to 40 hours of burning time. In independent laboratory testing, OZOFire™ has been proven to burn 5% longer than any similar fuel on the market.

For an extra measure of child safety, Bitrex®, a human aversive, has been added to make the fuel extremely bitter, so bitter that it is all but impossible to swallow.
